How to request deletion of your personal data
You have the right to request deletion of the personal data Ike's Job Board holds about you. This page explains what data we store, how to request deletion, and what happens after you do.
Data collected via Facebook or Instagram
If you connected your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account to Ike's Job Board, we stored the following data to enable posting job listings on your behalf:
- Your Facebook app-scoped user ID
- Facebook Page access token and Page ID
- Instagram Business Account ID
We do not store your Facebook profile data, friends list, posts, photos, or any other data beyond what is listed above. We use this data solely to post job listings when you initiate that action from your dashboard.
Automatic deletion
Your Facebook and Instagram tokens are automatically deleted when you:
- Disconnect your social accounts from your Ike's Job Board dashboard
- Delete your Ike's Job Board account
- Revoke access through Facebook's Privacy Settings (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites)
When Facebook notifies us of a revocation or deletion request through their data deletion callback system, we delete all associated data within 24 hours and provide a confirmation.
How to request deletion manually
To request deletion of your data — Facebook-origin data or any other personal data we hold — email us:

Include: the email address or phone number associated with your account, and what you would like deleted
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation when complete.
What cannot be immediately deleted
Some data is subject to legal retention requirements that override deletion requests:
- Job applications — must be retained for a minimum of 1 year from submission under EEOC record-keeping rules. After that period, application data is eligible for full deletion.
- Financial records — billing and payment records are retained for 7 years per IRS requirements.
- SMS consent logs — retained for the duration of any applicable legal obligation.
When you request deletion, we will delete everything that is not subject to a legal hold and tell you clearly what is being retained and why.
Deletion status
After submitting a deletion request (either manually or via Facebook's Privacy Settings), you will receive a confirmation email from nate@trashjoes.com when the deletion is complete. If you submitted through Facebook and did not receive a confirmation within 7 days, contact us directly.
