Who this policy covers
This platform has two types of users. This policy covers both:
- Job seekers — people who browse listings, apply to jobs, or post their availability
- Employers — businesses that post job listings, manage applications, and optionally connect social media accounts
Information we collect from job seekers
When you apply to a job:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Any information you include in your application message
When you post your availability:
- Name, phone number, zip code
- Job categories you're open to, availability, and any notes you provide
Automatically collected:
- IP address and device/browser information (standard web server logs)
- Application status and interaction history (whether your application was viewed, responded to, etc.)
Information we collect from employers
When you create an account:
- Business name, owner name, email address, phone number
- Business address (street, city, state, zip)
- Business bio and logo (optional)
When you post jobs or use paid features:
- Job listing content (title, description, pay, location, category)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Billing history and transaction records
When you connect social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram):
- Facebook Page access token and Page ID
- Instagram Business Account ID
- Your Facebook app-scoped user ID
- Business name and profile information from your connected Page
These tokens are stored solely to post job listings to your Page or Instagram account on your behalf when you initiate that action. We do not use your connected accounts for any other purpose. Tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect your accounts or close your Ike's Job Board account.
How we use your information
- To connect job seekers with employers — routing applications to the right person
- To send application status updates via SMS and email
- To operate employer accounts, job listings, and the behavioral scoring system
- To process payments for bulk uploads and featured boosts
- To post job listings to connected Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts when you request it
- To improve the platform and prevent abuse
We do not build advertising profiles from your data. We do not use Facebook or Instagram data obtained through the API to target ads at any user. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide a phone number when applying to a job, you may receive automated text messages from Ike's Job Board (sent via AWS SNS from toll-free number +1 (888) 920-5249) about:
- Confirmation that your application was submitted
- Notification that an employer has viewed your application
- Notification that an employer has responded to or closed your application
- A one-time anonymous rating request after an employer responds
- A follow-up if 30 days pass without any employer response
All SMS messages are transactional — they relate directly to actions you initiated. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any text. You will receive no further messages. Standard message and data rates may apply.
We send transactional emails via Postmark (a service of Wildbit LLC) for account-related events: application confirmations, employer response notifications, payment receipts, and platform alerts.
Our physical mailing address for email purposes: 74 Buffalo Inc., 1815 N Union Street, Fremont, NE 68025.
To opt out of non-transactional emails, click the unsubscribe link in any email or contact nate@trashjoes.com. We honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
Service providers
We work with the following third-party providers who may have access to your data solely to provide their services to us. Each is bound by data processing obligations consistent with this policy.
We do not sell, rent, or license your personal data to any third party for their own use.
How long we keep your data

Regardless of where you live, you can:
