These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ike's Job Board at ikesjobboard.com, operated by 74 Buffalo Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”), a Nebraska S-Corporation located at 1815 N Union Street, Fremont, NE 68025.

By creating an account or using this platform you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.


What Ike's Job Board is

Ike's Job Board is a marketplace that connects job seekers with employers. We are not an employment agency, staffing firm, or party to any employment relationship formed through this platform. We do not screen, endorse, or guarantee any employer, job listing, or job seeker. We do not guarantee that any employer will hire, that any job seeker will be hired, or that any listing is still available at the time you apply.


Terms for employers

What you agree to when you post a job

  • The job listing is for a real, open position at your actual business
  • All information in the listing — title, pay, location, job type, requirements — is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You will respond to applicants in a timely manner
  • You will update the listing status when the position is filled or no longer available
  • You comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws

What you can do with applicant data

  • Contact applicants to evaluate their candidacy for the specific position they applied to
  • Share application data with your internal hiring team
  • Retain applicant records for your own legal compliance (including EEOC record-keeping requirements)

What you cannot do with applicant data

  • Sell, license, or transfer applicant data to any third party
  • Contact applicants for purposes unrelated to the job they applied for
  • Use applicant data to market non-employment products or services
  • Discriminate in hiring based on any characteristic protected by applicable law

Prohibited listings

  • Jobs that do not exist or are not actively hiring
  • Listings that misrepresent pay, location, job type, or requirements
  • Multi-level marketing, commission-only positions not disclosed as such, or pyramid schemes
  • Any listing that violates federal, state, or local law

EEOC compliance

You are solely responsible for your own compliance with EEOC record-keeping requirements, including retaining applicant records for the legally required period. Ike's Job Board retains application data for 2 years from submission — but you are responsible for your own records independent of this platform.

Behavioral scoring

Employers on this platform are subject to a behavioral scoring system based on response rates and applicant feedback. Low scores may result in reduced visibility or account suspension. Scores and the factors behind them are disclosed in your dashboard.


Terms for job seekers

When you apply to a job

Your name and phone number are shared directly with the employer who posted the listing. By submitting an application you consent to this. You represent that the information in your application is accurate. Submitting false information may result in removal from the platform.

After a job is closed or filled

Once you submit an application, that application cannot be retracted and the employer retains access to it. If a job is closed or filled, the employer may continue to see your application for their record-keeping purposes. We retain application data for 2 years from submission.

Account deletion

If you delete your account, applications you have already submitted are retained in archived form for the legally required retention period (minimum 1 year from application date under EEOC rules). New employers will not be able to find you, but employers who already received your application retain their copy.

SMS messages

By providing your phone number you consent to receive automated text messages from Ike's Job Board (toll-free +1 888-920-5249) about your application status. These messages are transactional. Consent is not a condition of using the platform. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.


Social media posting (employers)

Employers may optionally connect their Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business account to Ike's Job Board to post job listings to those platforms directly from the dashboard.

Authorization: By connecting an account, you grant Ike's Job Board permission to create posts on your connected Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business account when you initiate a post from the dashboard.

Scope: We will only create posts you explicitly initiate. We will not create ads, access Page Insights beyond what is necessary, manage other Page settings, or interact with comments or messages on your behalf.

Token storage: Access tokens are stored securely and encrypted. They are deleted immediately when you disconnect your account or close your Ike's Job Board account.

Your responsibility: You remain responsible for all content posted to your social media accounts, including content posted through Ike's Job Board. If Meta suspends or restricts your Page for any reason, that is outside our control.

Third-party platform terms: Use of this feature is subject to Meta's Platform Terms and your own agreements with Meta. Ike's Job Board is not liable if Meta changes its API, restricts access, or removes a post.

No reach guarantee: We do not guarantee that posts will reach any specific audience, appear in feeds, or remain published. Meta's algorithms and policies govern this.

Additional platforms: We may add integrations with other social media platforms (such as LinkedIn) in the future. The same authorization framework will apply and you will be prompted for consent when connecting each new platform.


Paid features

Featured boost: Employers may pay to boost a job listing for increased visibility within a specified geographic radius. Boosts are sold at a flat monthly rate. Payment is processed through Stripe. Boosts are non-refundable once the boost period begins.

Bulk upload: Employers may upload multiple job listings via CSV at a per-job rate (minimum 10 jobs per upload). Payment is due before listings are published. Bulk upload fees are non-refundable once listings are published.

Taxes: Prices shown do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any applicable sales or use taxes.


Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • IKE'S JOB BOARD IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR LEGALITY OF JOB LISTINGS OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY EMPLOYER OR JOB SEEKER.
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR COSTS OF REPLACEMENT SERVICES.
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) FEES YOU PAID TO IKE'S JOB BOARD IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

Indemnification

Employers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 74 Buffalo Inc. and its officers from any claims, damages, or costs (including attorney's fees) arising from: their job listings, their hiring decisions or practices, their misuse of applicant data, or their violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Job seekers agree to indemnify 74 Buffalo Inc. against claims arising from false or misleading information submitted in their applications or profiles.


Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dodge County, Nebraska, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.


Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify users by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
